  • Program Responsibilities
  • Conduct plant pest diagnostics and recommendations to West Virginia growers and home owners to minimize losses due to pests.
  • Conduct applied plant disease management research on vegetables and small fruits.
  • Promote Integrated Pest Management (IPM) principles and practices by conducting educational programs throughout the state.
  • Maintain liaison with National Plant Diagnostic Network for a quick state and national response to an unexpected pest outbreak in the state.
