Tips for Home Plant Pest Management

Submit your Specimens for Identification

grasshopper West Virginia residents may submit insect, disease, or weed specimens for identification and control recommendations. The fastest way to have questions answered is to visit your local county Extension office. You may also mail specimens to extension specialists at WVU Plant Diagnostic Clinic or the West Virginia Department of Agriculture Pest Identification Laboratory.


Submission of Specimens Through the Mail

Please print one of the following forms and mail it and the pest specimens to the address listed on the form. These forms give us information which might hasten the identification process.
